About:

My name is Ranchida (Bell) Rojanakit -- a second year Political Science student studying International Relations at Thammasat University, Thailand. I’m originally from Khon Kaen, a province in the northeast where I wholeheartedly love – along with cats, movies, and Arctic Monkeys (the band). I found my passion in high school with scholarships to study abroad, my discussions with peers from across the world showed me opportunities that my community back home had never heard of. Realising that, I began advocating for decentralisation of opportunities in education and youth participation in policy-making. I have conducted workshops for youths from across the country to elevate the level of youth engagement in policy-making in Thailand, and am currently the head of Program Design department and one of the founders of YoungRise Thailand, a youth-led organisation focusing on youth advocacy trainings and supporting youths in making policy-level changes.
