OMAR KALOUTI

Previously a trader at Louis Dreyfus, a global merchant of agricultural goods, Omar was ultimately more curious about the technologies that would transform the space. He embarked on a year-long journey to become literate in code, and recently joined decentralised finance (DeFi) start-up OmiseGo. A "mix" of Palestinian and Swiss, he holds a degree in economics and political science from the University of Pennsylvania. He enjoys mountaineering, yoga and historical novels.
