DR. FONTHIP WATCHARAPORN

Dr. Fonthip Watcharaporn is an Assistant Director and Medical Practitioner at Institute for Urban Disease Control and Prevention (IUDC). Her educational background is a medical doctor. (Graduated from Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University). She had been a staff at Mahidol University Global Health (MUGH) for 2 years so she had experiences working related to global health and health policies. She is most passionate about reforming all aspects of Thailand’s health system and education system via innovations and policy advocacy. What she wants to happen most is the "Universal Accessibility" which means everyone has an equal right in accessing health service systems and education system. To elaborate, she hopes everyone can access to great quality of healthcare and education services equally and properly, regardless of hierarchies, socioeconomic status or any limitations. Currently, Dr. Fonthip is the incoming curator of Global Shapers Pathum Thani. She has the potential to be an outstanding leader and a great role model for others.
